La Rubia, “the blonde” in Spanish, became the third blend from EPIC Cigars on April 1, 2016.
An Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper covers a Mexican San Andrés binder and filler tobaccos from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. The smoke is medium-bodied, creamy and balanced.
Halfwheel rated the pre-release Robusto 91 points. La Rubia is offered in five sizes: Churchill, Lancero, Toro, Robusto and Short Gordo.
